As a unique initiative of the Viswakarma Service Society (VSS) headquartered in Changanachery, Kottayam, our platform is designed to seamlessly bridge our rich cultural heritage with modern digital convenience. Behind this modern matrimonial platform stands the robust legacy of our parent organization, the Viswakarma Service Society. Established in 1968 and registered under the Charitable Societies Act, VSS is a preeminent state-level organization dedicated to the social, educational, economic, and spiritual development of the community. The backbone of our community comprises traditional artisans and master craftsmen, including blacksmiths, carpenters, goldsmiths, specialists in copper and brass, and stone sculptors of sacred idols. While these artisans have historically served as the primary architects of the region's infrastructure and heritage, they have faced modern socio-economic challenges brought on by globalization, mechanization, and a historical lack of formal education.

To combat these systemic issues and elevate the community, VSS aims to transition traditional artisans from daily-wage workers to highly competitive, self-reliant entrepreneurs. Since December 2025, the organization has been operating under the seasoned leadership of T. U. Radhakrishnan (President), M. Murukan Palayathil (General Secretary), and Anoop Muraleedharan (Treasurer). Under their guidance, VSS boasts a massive grassroots network with organizational setups at the State, District, and Taluk levels, encompassing over 1,600 registered Sakhas and expanding to over 2,000 branches serving thousands of families across Kerala. The society works tirelessly to bring all community members under one roof, establishing educational institutions, hospitals, and specialized developmental wings to foster progress.

These specialized initiatives include the Mahila Sangham for women's empowerment, the Youth Federation for leadership training, and the Viswakarma Kala Sahithya Sangham (VIKAS) for preserving our unique artistic talents. Modernizing our operations and driving digital communication is the VSS Digi Cell, which ensures that platforms like VSS Matrimony are equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Furthermore, the Gayathri Swayam Sahaya Sangham, a self-help initiative launched in 2012, has grown to 1,200 units and successfully ventured into manufacturing household consumables under the brand name "STEER". Through these comprehensive efforts and the dedicated service of VSS Matrimony, the Viswakarma Service Society continues its overarching vision of securing unity, prosperity, and a higher quality of life for all its members in the contemporary world.
